We fund the hydration, nutrition, and recovery supplies that help Dallas firefighters bounce back from the brutal physical toll of the job. Every donation and community effort backs the crews who run toward the fire.
The Fireline Fund Dallas is a community-funded 501(c)(3) nonprofit with one purpose: take care of the Dallas firefighters who take care of us. We fund the recovery supplies that help crews bounce back from the physical punishment of the job.
Firefighting is brutal on the body. Crews run into structure fires that can top 500°F, hauling up to 75 pounds of gear while their core temperature spikes and they sweat out pounds of water. That strain is why cardiac events — not flames — are the leading cause of on-duty firefighter deaths. Recovery isn’t a luxury; it’s how they stay in the fight.
So we keep the front line stocked — Gatorade and electrolytes, real food and snacks, cooling towels and rehab gear — both at the scene and back at the station. We do it in partnership with Box4, and every dollar is tax-deductible and goes straight to the crews.
Box4 is the nonprofit partner that puts your donation to work on the ground. They handle sourcing, logistics, and delivery — turning community gifts into recovery supplies stocked on Dallas engines and station shelves, quickly and accountably.
Together, the Fireline Fund and Box4 make sure firefighters have what they need to recover the moment they step off the line — no red tape, no delay.
Recovery is part of the job — and it takes supplies. Here’s the strain your gift helps Dallas firefighters carry.
Crews fight fires that can top 500°F in up to 75 pounds of gear. Core temperatures spike, hearts race, and they sweat out pounds of water — long after the fire is out, their bodies are still paying for it.
On-scene hydration, nutrition, and cooling are proven to reduce heat strain and protect firefighters’ hearts. Your gift keeps those supplies within arm’s reach — every shift, every call.
